Sunday, April 07, 2024, more than 55,000 runners from 145 different countries will participate in the 47th edition of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris.

 

Paris hosts one of the 5 biggest marathons in the world. The running event has been held every year since 1976.

 

The legendary race of 42.195 km distance starts at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe on the top of the Champs-Elysées, heading towards Place de la Concorde.

Then, rue de Rivoli will take runners directly to Place de la Bastille.

After passing through the Bois de Vincennes, the return journey will pass by Notre-Dame Cathedral,

then by the Eiffel Tower via the Musée d'Orsay and will end in the Bois de Boulogne.
